working on my style | jacksonville family photographer

One of the things I love most about being a photographer is the constant learning and evolving of one's style.  I was lucky enough to have a mentoring session with a photographer whose work I love, and she gave me lots of inspiration and energy for pursuing the candid style that I love.  It's easy to get caught up in creating "the" family photo, with everybody looking and smiling, but I really love the images that are less perfect and show the connections and personalities of the people in them.  My friend Carolyn and her girls were awesome to be open to some ideas I wanted to try, so we headed to Friendship Fountain for variety of looks.  Her girls were great models and even gave me some ideas I hadn't thought of--I loved that!
